Planners may, for example, need to lengthen or shorten a product to achieve a different distance from spout to wash basin, or from ceiling to shower head. AXOR Signature provides partners and customers the freedom to create products with adaptions as they wish, all while maintaining the functionality, operation and unique aesthetic of a product’s design.
Ensuring the perfect fit
Once customers have decided on a product’s desired dimensions in
consultation with AXOR, AXOR Signature experts begin by precisely cutting each product component to its individual requirements. Afterwards, the components are seamlessly soldered together—with any necessary extensions—before being polished, coated and finished.
To meet the most exacting standards of quality and performance, all AXOR Signature modifications are handmade and closely inspected by quality control experts throughout their manufacture.
Adjustable at your demand
Length adaptions offer greater flexibility for partners to implement their exact visions in the bathroom and easily respond to unforeseeable changes. In the case of a washbasin faucet, for example, AXOR Signature can adapt the product to match the ideal height and distance to the basin. This eliminates splashing and ensures a more ergonomic washing experience attuned to the unique dimensions of a project.

In this example, a curved shower arm is created by precisely bending components to fit a client’s desired measurements without compromising aesthetics or function.
Special projects demand special solutions
AXOR Signature specially manufactures basic sets with waterways that can be repurposed and adapted to accommodate newly-installed products with varying water way alignments. These sets also offer the additional benefit of being able to be rearranged to fit inadequately installed plumbing connections that would otherwise warrant complete reinstallation.
Country-specific material adaptations
To ensure that AXOR products conform to local norms and standards throughout the world, AXOR Signature specially produces components to meet country- and project-specific requirements for materials and construction. These adaptations include the creation of products that are lead-free or made of dezincification-resistant brass, for instance.
Thermal disinfection locks for hygiene and security
According to hygienic standards, public buildings such as hospitals must regularly perform a thermal disinfection of their pipes. This process includes rinsing fixtures with water above 71°C for at least three minutes. In order to prevent accidental scalding, AXOR Signature offers nursing and hospitality customers custom on/off temperature locks that stop water flow at temperatures above 38°C. For thermal disinfection procedures, this mechanism can be easily unlocked by staff through with any narrow, sharp tool, such as a paper clip or ballpoint pen.
