“AXOR fits so well to the Laurichhof because the brand offers a lot of versatile collections and we had maximum creative freedom. We were able to match the faucets perfectly to the individual concept of the suites.”Annette Katrin Seidel, Interior Designer, Designer and Owner of the design hotel Laurichhof
The hotel contains its own world. Spanning Japanese cityscapes and Marrakech apartments, underwater worlds and forester’s cabins, each of the Laurichhof’s 27 suites can accommodate almost any mood and preference. Envisaged from start to finish by designer and architect Annette Katrin Seidel and her son Philip Seidl, the hotel is a whimsical creation underpinned with high-quality designer objects—including AXOR in the bathrooms.
Each AXOR collection was selected after careful consideration. The Seidel’s required design traditions ranging from classic to modern, traditional to avant-garde, purist and organic to translate the respective concept behind every suite. Similarly, the possibility to customize faucets played a decisive role: for example, the AXOR Montreux wash basin mixer in Brushed Nickel perfectly harmonizes with the ‘Marrakesh’ suite’s warm tones and gold-colored accessories. Such customization was essential for Annette Katrin, for whom bathroom design is concerned with quality as much as creativity; providing durable designer objects that delight with everyday use.
Crafting an individual atmosphere for every suite was worthwhile: each décor provides guests the choice to arrange their stay according to individual taste. This is abundantly clear in the bathrooms, which reflect the suites through the material palette, color scheme and selection of AXOR faucets and showers.
